Maranatha Guest House

All projects

A place of welcome, fellowship and missionary preparation

A home to welcome those who serve the nations.

A home for those on mission

Bangkok is an important hub for missionaries and Christian teams working in different countries across Asia. Because of its strategic location, the city receives people who come to serve, to train, to take part in projects, to build partnerships or to travel on to other nations.

Many pass through Bangkok during their missionary journeys and need a place where they can rest, find fellowship, receive guidance and prepare for the next steps.

Maranatha Guest House is born of a desire to serve these people, offering hospitality and an environment that encourages both rest and spiritual and ministry growth.

A shared table set for dinner, several plates, chairs pulled out, evening.

Our mission

To receive missionary teams and Christians from different nations, offering an environment of welcome, fellowship, training and strengthening for those who serve the Kingdom of God in Asia.

What we want to offer

  1. Hospitality and rest

We want to offer a welcoming space where missionaries and teams can rest, regain their strength and find care during their time in Bangkok.

More than accommodation, we want each person to be received with love, respect and attention, finding a family atmosphere amid the demands of missionary life.

  2. Training and missionary preparation

The Guest House will also be a space to receive teams who want to prepare to serve in Thailand and in other nations of the region.

Our desire is to hold times of training, teaching, prayer and cultural and ministry orientation, helping participants better understand the context in which they will serve and build healthy relationships with local communities.

  3. Fellowship and unity among the nations

We believe that mission is strengthened when people from different cultures and organisations walk together.

We long for the house to become a meeting point for missionaries, leaders and teams, creating opportunities to share experiences, build partnerships and encourage one another along the way.

  4. Connection with the mission in Thailand

As well as welcoming teams in transit, we want the Guest House to make connections with the local Church and with the ministries we are developing in Bangkok.

In this way, those who pass through the city will be able to get to know the reality of Thailand better, understand the challenges of the mission and find responsible ways to serve in partnership with local people and communities.

Our vision

We dream of a home that becomes a point of reference for missionaries passing through Bangkok: a place of rest, preparation, fellowship and sending.

We long to serve those who devote their lives to taking the Gospel to different peoples, recognising that caring for those who serve is also part of the mission.

The Guest House will be a practical expression of hospitality and unity, connecting people, strengthening teams and making room for new missionary partnerships to flourish.

We believe that welcoming those who go to the nations is also taking part in the mission. We want everyone who passes through our home to continue their journey strengthened, encouraged and better prepared to serve.
